About CXOs NextGen

CXOs NextGen Initiative which started as a Centre of Excellence in 2015, has today taken the shape of a Very Large MOVEMENT. CA (Dr) Aman Chugh brought together few Very Senior Industry Leaders to form the CXOs NextGen Initiative in the beginning but over the last 6 years now, Over 3000 Very Senior Industry Leaders from Reputed Consultancy Firms including Big 4s such as PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, etc; Corporates including Volvo, Mahindra, Maruti, Wipro, Thermofisher, Hero, Flipkart, etc; Investment Banks & Rating Companies including Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, CITCO, Credit Suisse, Bank of America, Crisil, Moodys, etc; Banks & Financial Institutions including HDFC Bank, Citi Bank, ICICI Bank, etc have become a part of this MOVEMENT.

This MOVEMENT is aimed to bridge the long existent Industry-Academia gap by bringing in Industry Experts to Educate, Groom and Handhold students for LIFE, to transform them into either Job Capables or Entrepreneurs equipped with cutting edge skills.

The First Initiative under this MOVEMENT started with India’s First & Only MBA Program in Banking & Finance with Specializations in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance & Wealth Management to create Finance Leaders of Tomorrow.

Vision

Normally, one would think of donating monetarily to help solve a problem but seldom does that work on the root cause of a problem. Therefore, we decided to take on the very well evident problem which all of us encountered during our extensive Corporate exposure – that students were being taught using the same old theoretical curriculum by teachers with a theoretical approach even amidst changing requirements of the Industry, ultimately rendering them unfit for real jobs and requiring organizations to train them.

We thought of countering the problem by designing a one of its kind Initiative, wherein, various programs would be TOTALLY designed and delivered by very Senior Industry experts themselves and make the CXOs of Tomorrow from amongst the Generation of Today; called as “CXOs NextGen“.

At present, within this Initiative, we have been running with India’s First & Only MBA in Finance which covers all exclusive domains of Finance namely Investment Banking, Corporate Finance & Wealth Management.

As India Inc progresses on the path of excellence by focusing on quality education, we aspire to reach the same idea at the Graduation & School level, in order to help interested students identify their passion for Finance & start their grooming from an early age, so that they can become the Industry Stalwarts in the years to come. Also, as the Tier II & III cities shall get developed with Large Corporates increasing their presence & MSMEs also growing multifold, we envisage making the students capable to fit in their local locations so that one need not go away from the family. The focus is to make the students use their Knowledge & Skills to become Entrepreneurs or Job Capable based on such practical knowledge, improving the overall quality of life of a student and society as a whole.

This MBA Program with superspecializations in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance & Wealth Management stands out from the crowd as it is TOTALLY crafted, mentored, seasoned, and conceptualized by our CXOs & CXOs Next Members holding the offices with high ceilings/ranks, and the Program is imparted exclusively by them (Senior Industry Professionals with relevant Domain finesse). Most of the Industry’s best-known CFOs/CEOs and other Senior Management people from Varied organizations (Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Investment Banks) have come together in grooming Finance talent and make students into Industry fit Job Capable or Entrepreneurs in all domains of Finance & Financial Industry so that they be called as CXOs NextGen (CXOs of Tomorrow from amongst the Generation of Today).

Why this Superspecializaton?

It has been observed over the last few years that the metrics in Global Financial Markets and Economies have been rapidly changing. Developed Economies like the USA, UK, Eurozone and Japan have experienced slowing growth rates with Capital lying in abundance, while India has shown a great growth potential, being a domestic demand Economy, starving only for Capital. It is only logical for Investors in such Countries to invest in India in a big way to gain from our growth story. But these huge Fund flows over the years would come with their own challenges and opportunities.

All this activity would create a huge demand for Skilled Finance Professionals who can handle various aspects of such deals such as becoming Investment Bankers, Corporate Finance Experts, and Wealth Managers/Advisors.

Keeping in mind all these considerations, the idea of this specialized MBA course was conceived in 2015. The idea was a brainchild of a few passionate Senior Industry Finance Professionals, working at varied Top-level Management positions in reputed Organizations, who thought of giving something back to society, once they had established themselves in their Professional journey.

CA (Dr) Aman Chugh became the initiator and the binding force for all of them and in collaboration with Chitkara University, launched such MBA Program, way ahead of time, when no one else was imparting practical knowledge and exposure to students and it has worked wonders for students so far and is only expected to get better.

In turn, it can also make life easier for your organization when it comes to ending the Right Talent groomed or prepared under the guidance of all of us. Hence, not only students get Industry experts as mentors for a lifetime, even the experts and organizations get to be a part of an ever-growing network of highly skilled professionals, groomed and established under their own expert guidance, who, in turn, further contribute to the network to the best of their capabilities when it is their turn.
